Our lowest-acid single origin is back! The Monsoon Malabar is a unique coffee exposed to monsoon winds and rains for up to four months, a process that expands the beans and reduces almost all acidity, creating an almost neutral pH. Roasted to highlight its bold, intense flavours, it’s perfect for filter brewing or a smoother, lighter espresso.

Burnt caramel, malt, chocolate, and spice - a full-bodied coffee with big flavour and low acidity.

Filter Brew Ratio: 1:18
Brew Time: Less than 2 minutes (depending on brew method).
This means that for every gram of ground coffee added into the filter there is 18 grams of hot water. If using a plunger/French Press you can add two tablespoons of ground coffee (approximately 14 grams), mixed with 250ml of hot water.

Sourced from the Malabar Coast in India, the beans are carefully sun-dried and processed through traditional monsooning techniques. The labour-intensive process involves repeated raking and turning, resulting in pale golden beans that are unmistakable in flavour and appearance.
