Our flagship and best-selling coffee, the Meebz Blend is loved across New Zealand for its bold, creamy texture, rich chocolate notes, and punchy body. Carefully crafted for balance, it delivers strength and flavour without bitterness - making it the go-to choice for espresso lovers, café partners, and home baristas alike.

As a roaster, we continually refine this blend to ensure consistency, quality, and flavour, which is why it’s our main espresso offering both in-store and across our café network.

Sweet, creamy texture with a velvety body, balanced flavours, and dark caramel undertones. Chocolate notes linger for a satisfying finish.

Brew ratio: 1:1.9
Extraction time: 29–34 seconds

This means that for every gram of ground coffee dosed into the portafilter there is 1.9 grams of coffee extracted. If using and dosing with an 18g portafilter you can extract approximately 34 grams of liquid (coffee).

Our recipes are designed as templates for starting points and do vary depending on many other variables, including personal preferences in particular.

A four-bean blend with a South American and Sumatran base for bold body and chocolate notes. Central American and Ethiopian beans add brightness and character. All origins are ethically sourced and selected for quality, consistency, and flavour. Designed for espresso, this blend has a heavy mouthfeel and richness while keeping bitterness to a minimum.

Great blend

This is a beautiful dark roast blend that truly delivers. It has a lovely bold and heavy body without any harshness.
We found the flavour profile to be mostly comforting notes of sweet dark caramel and classic baker's chocolate. It's clearly crafted to make an excellent, creamy espresso, but it also brews a rich, dark filter cup.
If you appreciate a coffee that's both robust and smooth, this blend is a wonderful daily companion. Highly recommended for the dark roast enthusiast.

Free shipping will automatically be applied to all bean orders above $47.

All orders placed before 9:00am on working days (Mon - Fri excluding public holidays) we endeavour to dispatch that day. Sometimes we run out of cofee and its possible your order may take an extra day. The courier aims to deliver your parcel overnight however we frequently encounter courier delays.

You will receive an e-mail notification with your tracking number when your order has been shipped. Once this e-mail has been received your order should arrive the next working day or the day after for rural and more remote locations.
