Our darkest, richest coffee!

The Brazil Dark is our rich, dark, and bold single-origin coffee from South America. Crafted by the coffee roaster for a coffee that is bold with a good body and low acidity. Our coffee roaster is proud to showcase this single origin for an option that focuses on dark flavour and body with slight smoky and bitter tones. A good option for espresso or a rich filter option.

A dark coffee with low acidity and smokiness. It exhibits flavours of dark chocolate, nutty, and dark cacao.

Espresso Brew Ratio: 1:1.9
Extraction Time: 26-30 seconds.
This means that for every gram of ground coffee dosed into the portafilter there is 1.9 grams of coffee extracted. If using and dosing with an 18g portafilter you can extract approximately 34 grams of liquid (coffee).

This coffee comes from the Mogiana region of Brazil, one of the country’s most renowned growing areas. Sitting on a high plateau at 800–1,200 metres, the region produces coffees known for their rich body, balanced sweetness, and smooth chocolate tones.

This particular lot is extra special to us - it’s the first exclusive harvest we’ve secured directly for Meebz Coffee. Arriving fresh in 2021, it’s been performing beautifully, offering a sweet, full-bodied cup with comforting notes of chocolate and brown sugar.

Sustainability and community: This Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee comes from a farm deeply committed to environmental stewardship and community development. Their ongoing projects support local education, health, and cultural initiatives, positively impacting families across the region.

Great blend

This is a beautiful dark roast blend that truly delivers. It has a lovely bold and heavy body without any harshness.
We found the flavour profile to be mostly comforting notes of sweet dark caramel and classic baker's chocolate. It's clearly crafted to make an excellent, creamy espresso, but it also brews a rich, dark filter cup.
If you appreciate a coffee that's both robust and smooth, this blend is a wonderful daily companion. Highly recommended for the dark roast enthusiast.

Free shipping will automatically be applied to all bean orders above $47.

All orders placed before 9:00am on working days (Mon - Fri excluding public holidays) we endeavour to dispatch that day. Sometimes we run out of cofee and its possible your order may take an extra day. The courier aims to deliver your parcel overnight however we frequently encounter courier delays.

You will receive an e-mail notification with your tracking number when your order has been shipped. Once this e-mail has been received your order should arrive the next working day or the day after for rural and more remote locations.
